The design of the Honda CR-V has change a lot over the years, but the changes we’ve seen are definitely for the better. The redesign of the 2017 Honda CR-V has changed ever so slightly over the previous year’s models, but takes into context of what the 2016 models were lacking. Providing consumers an alternative to larger, and less economic SUV’s, the CR-V is always a great choice.
The 2017 Honda CR-V brings back the smaller design as the more compact SUV has been the preference for some. Offering enough for smaller families and those looking to buy on more of a budget while keeping down your recurring expenses over-time. The routine maintenance, gas expenses, and many others that are typically found with larger SUV’s won’t be a problem with the 2017 models.
The following preview/review gives you a bird’s eye view of things to come with the 2017 Honda CR-V features, specs, price, and release date for all models including the EX, EX-L, LX, and Touring Models.
2017 Honda CR-V Features and Specs
The 2017 Honda CR-V features and specs won’t differ that much from the 2016 models, but there will be improvements seen that make it more efficient. Safety will also be improved offering better stability, handling, and more standard safety features seen in all models.
One of the most noticeable differences with the 2017 CR-V models is the improved fuel economy over last year’s models. Getting an estimated 29MPG/city and around 35MPG highway gives you one of the most economical SUV’s on the market.
In the higher-end models including the EX-L and Touring models, you will see a much better sound system then the LX and EX models. Other noticeable differences will be the options between models including electronics, moon roof, heated side mirrors, navigation, HD Radio, side mirror warning system, power liftgate, 18” wheels, and much more.
It’s not likely that we’ll see any difference with the engine as it’s rumored that all 2017 models will feature a 2.4 liter 185-hp engine along with a 2-speed CVT overdrive transmission.
